Black representation on the City Council looks like it will remain the same with 20 members. The number of women will increase from 15 to at least 17 and, depending on final results, could tie the record of 18 set back in 2007. And the number of Asian American City Council members could grow to two.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
