She should go back to her academic job. She and her administration would be great case studies regarding the damage progressive and combative policies have on an urban area. There might be some- but there are not many- mayors who did more disastrous things to the city they ran.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
