Alderman Taylor turns thumbs down on migrants becoming cops – Chicago Crusader

“Your allowing people who are not familiar with our city or our laws to become law enforcement officers just doesn’t make sense,” Ald. Jeanette Taylor said. “I think once they go through the immigration process and they become citizens, then yes.” Reminded that federal law prohibits non-citizens from carrying guns, Taylor said she doesn’t understand why the bill was passed in the first place, chalking it up to politics.

I’m beginning to think that they don’t like brown people.

I suspect Taylor is more upset at the concept of Hispanics policing African American communities, especially Hispanics that “just got here.” To her, it’s another sad reminder how Chicago’s Hispanics are passing the African American community in both relevance and prosperity.

Sad, yes, but in many ways, the hispanic community might make better neighbors. The city’s murder rate would drop by 75% if the great replacement happened in black communities, and all other crime with drop pretty significantly too. Unemployment rate would drop, and home prices might go up a bit too.
