The CTU’s president claims that school choice is racist…and yet sends her own child to private school – Wirepoints on AM 560 Chicago’s Morning Answer

This may seem incredibly cynical but honest truth about how CPS works for the FEW. It’s been over 10 years since our kids where at CPS. The reality is CPS does offer a ton of choice. The sad reality is that, outside of the few best in state selective enrollment HS, your CHOICES are between mediocre and horrible all of which any parent (W,B,H,A) with a clue is hyper aware of. I believe the majority of CPS kids do not go to their neighborhood assigned school at this point (could make for a good WP piece). CTU/Brandon doesn’t use the… Read more »

And the children in the CTU schools will have to wear masks this winter. Her child in private school won’t have to. How many Covid shots did Jill Biden get and why did she get Covid? Why did Joe Biden take off his mask BEFORE he gave out a medal of honor this week? Are the same people who voted for him last time going to vote for him again? You’re denying the truth if you vote a straigh Democrat ticket again. For God sakes, get over the party and do what’s best for you, you wallet, and the country.… Read more »

So a police officer shows up, makes an arrest and before you know it the perp is right back on the street committing the same crime again. What’s the point? Soon the no cash bail will make it even more frustrating for the police department so if 911 calls are not answered it has to be expected. It is the Chicago way…learn to live with it.

Apparently, it is much more lucrative to keep feeding the fire than to try and help put it out. Just ask any of the myriad race baiters with lots of bling, body guards, children in private schools and gated homes.

Stacy Davis-Gates, Brandon Johnson and their supporters profit from their bigotry of low expectations of disproportionately Black and Latino public schoolchildren. They, not the critics of their failed but self-enriching policies, are the racists.

Public Sector Unions have destroyed Illinois. Very little hope till they are gone, but you should be gone first.

Another classic case of liberal elitism. Rules for thee but not for me! Do as I say, not as I do! You can hardly blame her, as the State of Illinois is led by the King of Liberal Elitism, the carnival barker himself, JB Pritzker! The man who keeps billions offshore to avoid taxes, while he raises yours. The man who locks your family down while his travels freely around the country. The man who wants to limit your carbon footprint while he has an enormous one. You get the point.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
