WVON’s Rufus Williams and Ted Dabrowski talk about why the chance of Chicago criminals being caught and punished is near zero. – Wirepoints on WVON

Ted joined Rufus Williams of WVON for a deep discussion about the calculus of Chicago crime and why criminals have a near-zero chance of getting arrested, why the morale of police officers has suffered, why Chicago’s leadership continues to downplay crime within the city, how minorities are overwhelmingly the victims of violent crime, and more.

“ As a means of celebrating the richness and diversity of our wonderful community, we’ll gladly turn a blind eye to people fighting, carrying illegal weapons and attacking police should they choose to intervene. Word “ Your favorite progressive/ socialist/ Dem/ communist, Mayor Tupac.

The Democrat party is decriminalizing the thug lifestyle.

The causing of havoc on the streets of Illinois is not what is at stake here. What is at stake is Pritzker’s desire for headlines for his Presidential run. My assumption is he will be assured the media in true form will be silent on the overall havoc meaning all will be well for Pritzker and the rest of us…you know the answer already

It will be funny to see the contrast between CA’s Gov. Newsom’s showcasing his tough on crime measures to reduce rail car theft, open air drug use and shash & grabs, and JB’s gaslighting the nation into believing that IL no longer has CA’s problems because our SAFE-T Act solved those problems. LOL

“assured the media in true form will be silent” yes, money can buy silence. You’ve seen what Biden did to silence all forms of media. Can you imagine what Pritzker would do with that power.

Anyone with half a brain on Guv Spaulding’s staff, should recognize that running a morbidly obese gas-bag against a tan, trim, sparkle-smiling gas-bag is folly.

From the article “ minorities are overwhelmingly the victims of violent crime,” but aren’t minorities also overwhelmingly the perpetrators of these crimes?

An inconvenient, racist( it will be labeled by Mayor Tupac) fact.

Thug culture is as popular in the black and brown communities. The decriminalization of thuggery is the Democrat Party recognizing how popular this lifestyle is. There is no other explanation.

IL Democrat ban on cash bail means crime is now legal — no better way to rot society from the inside out

How can that be? Cops are getting paid large amounts of money to protect us, great benefits, lots of vacation time and a huge overly generous pension at a very young age.

Can we assume that the end result then will be there will be not as many individuals applying to be police officers in Illinois?

Al, make your range time count as the cost of ammo to keep you on top of your game is becoming prohibitive.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
