“Here’s what Venezuelans at the police station told me: ‘If the border is open, we’re coming.'” – Ted Dabrowski on with John Kass

Ted was on The Chicago Way with John Kass and Jeff Carlin to talk about his recent visit to the Chicago Police Station at Division & Larrabee, where he met with Venezuelan migrants who’d been recently bused from the US/Mexico border. Most were being forced to live in tents (if they’re lucky) or outside the police station. What he found was nothing but chaos and a city with no plan for how to take care of thousands of migrants – never mind the city and state’s “welcoming” sanctuary status.

Ted also offered up his take on Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson’s massive budget proposal.

Of course they will come if the border is open and Biden will give them cookies, a free place to live and guns and bullets. Come on in, your money is no good here, we’ll take money from hard working Americans to take care of you, per the Democrats plans. We are a welcoming country just waiting to be taken over by illegal immigrants. What a great deal!

From the number of single Venezuelan males appearing more frequently on the CWB blotter , I think it’s a safe assumption that their prisons are getting roomier by the day. These are not families “ seeking a better life “, many are uneducated, unemployable dregs that Venezuela is only too happy to be rid of.

The other issue that no one wants to even address is …. we’ve imported millions of single young hispanic men into the country, most of whom have that male urge and desire to meet a mate and procreate. We have NOT imported an equal number of single female women with no children. Now, the delicate balance of male to female ratio has been upset. The 20 and 30 something hispanic dating market just got REALLY lopsided with probably 105 or 108 hispanic men for every 100 hispanic women, and probably goes even higher depending on specific neighborhoods. And these migrants… Read more »

The reports of single females that are unfortunate enough to pass by one of the areas where the illegals have spilled out onto the sidewalk being sexually harassed would seem to bear your concern out. As to whether they are even smart enough to be army material or have a clean record remains to be seen. Then again, JP and BLM Johnson have already made overtures to allow them to get in law enforcement and replace the police officers that have enough sense to bail out of this Moscow of the Midwest Pritzger seems determined to make IL into.

Make sure we take care of them before the citizens that pay for this and the migrants that have been here for twenty years prior, paying their taxes and keeping the economy moving!

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
