CTU President Stacy Davis-Gates plays the political game at the expense of ordinary Illinoisans…most politicians do. – Wirepoints on AM 560 Chicago’s Morning Answer

Ted joined Dan and Amy to talk about how bureaucrats over-regulate businesses that are struggling to survive, how CTU president Stacy Davis Gates receives a tax break from an Indiana home she doesn’t live in, how the fate of the Invest in Kids Act will be decided during this week’s veto session, why per student spending continues to increase despite dismal results in reading and math, and more.

Things like this are possibly more common than one might think. As an example for years in my liberal downstate utopia the Chairman of the Board of Review claimed and received homestead exemptions on his two rental properties as well as his own home.. When caught rather than take criminal action the County Board let him resign so as to collect a pension. Heaven forbid a criminal action that would block his pension. Illinois…

Like many politicians of color, she got into office via her blackness and a promise to right the inherently racist ship called American. Also like many politicians of color, once the money and power take hold, the only color she is interested in is green and she is the captain of her own ship. Everyone else can sink or swim.

Chicago and Illinois are being led by evil people. Since it was apparent that these leaders were evil prior to their being elected (or reelected), I can only conclude that most of the people in Illinois are also evil. I’m not too worried about it though. First, having left, it’s not my problem. Second, the evil will eventually destroy those supporting it. Third, those that benefit from the evil and manage to avoid the consequences in this life will pay a price in the next. Lastly, once again I’ll state an obvious fact. If you continue to live in Illinois… Read more »

I would say more like demon possessed. Read Genesis Chapter 6 and see how the world was before the Great Flood and take a look around at the world today. It seems like it’s worse now due to instant communication world wide.

That’s kind of always been the deal with living according to the judeo-christian values. It is supposed to be difficult.

We will always be surrounded by evil secularists who kill their children, kill each other with impunity, and abuse the living in the most degenerate and destructive ways. We right now are not all that different from the 12 tribes living among the Canaanites, praying to the false gods, engaging with male cult prostitutes, and so on.

Exactly. When the clock runs out, the time of testing will be over, and the real power will reward or punish. Can you imagine them calling the creator of all things “racist” when things don’t go their way at judgement?

Just in case how many people on Judgement Day will need a large box of Snickers? And a good attorney. LOL

There was a time when any public official breaking the rules would receive attention from the mainstream media. Now it only happens to some public officials. These are dangerous times.

Even JB’s for using the CPS schools to shelter migrants:

“Pritzker recently said he has concerns about a $29 million tent camp planned to house migrants currently staying at the city’s police stations and suggested housing migrants in unused buildings, such as closed schools.”

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
