Pritzker and Johnson are both bald faced liars.

Pritzker and Johnson the two so remind me of the
Funny papers of old the comics.
They emulate Mutt & Jeff and how they got out of bad situations.
They deserve each other and hopefully the future brings an end to politics like there’s.
Good riddance to bad rubbish

The reality of the situation is this. Chicago is down almost 2000 officers and has a lot fewer cops on the street to respond to calls for service. You are a citizen who is the victim of a crime and have not been injured. You call 911 and ask to file a report. The police don’t show up or respond hours later and you, the victim, have left or are not available so no report is made and therefore no crime was committed. Crime is down shout the politicians.

Add in the fact that either 1) Soros funded Foxx and her ilk decide not to persue charges or 2) Soros funded judges allow cases to be pled down to misdemeanors, or “ adjudicate” the offenders and what are truly felonies are never classified as such. For example, carjacking is now classified as the more benign ( and less deadly) sounding “ vehicle theft “ in some cases.

Next up Pritzker and Johnson will say the jail population is down so crime is down too. Funny how that Safety Act that turns the criminals loose on the streets will be used to spin a positive headline for future political aspirations for those two. Even funnier is the fact that the liberals will believe them.

The progressives believe him, but the regular normie Democrats know better. They’re not stupid, they know crime is up. The evidence is that they avoid the city as much as possible. Nearly every middle class suburbs or wealthier voted for the Republican states attorney. The normie Democrat in the city limits is selling their homes in the city and moving to the suburbs, which in my opinion is the only reason why suburban housing prices are still increasing slightly but Chicago proper is mostly declining (with lots of underwater properties, some of the highest in the nation). These people also… Read more »

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/no-pretrial-release-for-accused-purse-snatcher-in-dupage-county-prosecutors-say/ar-AA1kH4li This degenerate snatched a purse in Downers Grove grocery store this week. An off-duty ISP officer saw what happened and tackled the guy and held him for police. A DuPage County judge granted prosecutors’ petition to deny Herman pre-trial release. There is a 100% chance this guy would have been released in Cook County. Without a question of a doubt, a 100% chance he would have been released. But in DuPage County, a petty purse snatcher gets held without bond until trial. This is not unexpected. As I warned months ago, and as any person could analyze the situation,… Read more »

Will County criminal held without pretrial trial release for DUI, and a felon in possession of guns. This guy would have been released in Chicago.

Very nice to see actual law enforcement! Judges have been part of the problem for sure. I can only wonder how many pay offs are being made to allow all of this to continue? Ideology is never as important as envelopes and when you have $$$$ in play from dark money groups affiliated with Soros, Zuckerberg, etc. God only knows how much cash is being used for this nefarious purpose. https://voz.us/companies-that-gave-more-than-83-billion-to-the-blm-movement-revealed/?lang=en#:~:text=Amazon%2C%20Apple%20and%20Adidas%20are,money%20to%20the%20BLM%20movement&text=%2D%20BlackRock%3A%20%24810%20million.,%2D%20Adidas%3A%20%24120%20million. The only thing I can see is major dark money is still in play at many levels. Not sure that all of them are ideologues but they sure want… Read more »

The cartels are likely paying off politicians to let them shuttle millions of illegals over the border and control drug distribution territories. Chuy Garcia’s own son is a know higher ranking gang member and two or three aldermen stick up for the gangs a little too much …

That is really a very valid point. I live in a rather affluent downstate area populated heavily with retired government employees and assorted trial lawyers liberals all. They love to point fingers and voice liberal opinions but you don’t see them living in areas like East St. Louis or Cahokia (to name a couple). Do as I say but not as I do is so common.

Preckwinkle also a big proponent of empty jails. She can then toot her horn on saving tax dollars, dollars she then doles out as “ guaranteed income “ to the tune of $500 a month for a term of two years to her voter base. The whole system reeks from top to bottom.

You’re in for a rude awakening. Liberals are no longer following the script. Johnson has a 28% approval rating! I’ve got liberals driving up and down my block screaming anti-sematic slurs with a megaphone. Art school kids are buying guns. My gay restaurateur friend thinks Chicago F’d him and is moving to the suburbs. I know people that have been waiting for green cards, for years, that are absolutely livid Venezuelans are cutting in line. I’m witnessing crimes that aren’t showing up in the police blotter. The last one was at 2100 w Chicago on the 23rd of Nov. Some… Read more »

“The government you elect is the government you deserve”—Thomas Jefferson.

Chicago deserves Brandon Johnson because they elected him. The citizens of Chicago have exactly the kind of city they asked for, and they have absolutely no one to blame but themselves.
