Just because crime isn’t being reported or, as in the case of the carjacking a few days ago the victim declines to file a complaint so there is no crime, doesn’t mean that crime is down as Brandon, Pritzger and Joe want you to believe. Since 2020, many municipalities underreported and just plain ceased to report crimes to the FBI, a study recently revealed. That does wonders for the powers that be, and allows them to focus on crimes of “ white supremacy “ , the only punishable offense that they seem to be concerned about.

Would be nice to provide a link to that study. Not saying it does not exist, just want facts supported.

I posted a link but as usual, whenever I link any article it gets put in spam. Although, I noticed a spammer from yesterday had no problem posting his link.

Who says I’m retired little Tommy? I also don’t spam this site and it’s a software issue when real spam is let through and a corresponding comment isn’t. You clearly don’t know the definition of spam. Spam is not someone offering a differing opinion of yours. You snowflakes just absolutely melt because one or two commenters on this site don’t agree with your all of your views. You’re a pathetic little boy.

So are you going to tell us you are not retired? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Riiiiiggggghhhhhttttt!!!!!!! If not, then you got some ‘splaining to do Lucy. It appears that like many other things, you are the one who does not know what you are talking about regarding spam. Your repeated posts are the text book definition of spam. You persistently post. Regardless of your opinions, and yes they are most certainly opinions, the amount of posting you do would most certainly activate a spam filter. The funny thing it is you who is the melting little snowflake as evidenced by the amount of… Read more »

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
