Everybody needs a side hustle these days, and mine is Ukraine, where I am now.

If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
Obviously these events are a direct result of poor prosecution and imprisonment, as well as reduction of funding for the Police and the complete lack of support for Police activities. No information about the shooter, which is typical. It likely didn’t fit the needed narrative, so no reason to mention whether this person was out on bail, number of arrests, had a previous record, immigration status, etc. Nah, no reason to look at any of that…it is of course gun violence.
Good thing that CCL holders are forbidden from carrying firearms on CTA trains or someone could really have been hurt!
