Johnson proposes 11 tax and fee hikes totaling $234M – Illinois Policy

Mayor Brandon Johnson’s tax increases include hikes in property taxes, personal property leases, the city shopping bag tax and the tax on streaming services. Hikes are hitting vehicles with more speed cameras, parking taxes and rideshare fees.

Well Golly!!! No Reforms just tax increases. Guess who is getting all those taxpayer $$$. Those who are well organized and have a large voting block. The rest of us thruout the state are on our own as individuals.
