Chicago Teachers Union President Stacy Davis Gates and Johnson regularly text humorous or supportive messages. In one note early in his administration, she shared some advice that didn’t work too well in Greek mythology: “Fly closer to the sun,” she said. “Go faster. Get bigger. Don’t slow down.”

If you pull people out of the hood with room temperature IQ’s and expect them to communicate in a civilized manner, you’ll be sorely disappointed.

Johnson needs to remember he’s not a teacher. He should withdraw from the union. It’s a conflict of interest

Why can Johnson get a pension after only 4 years of teaching? A lot of unions require 10 years.
