It is most galling to Illinois taxpayers to be on the hook for legal expenses (and settlements) of public officials’ malfeasance and misfeasance.

The apple cart of democrats who are crying about illegal aliens being deported would be overturned and the real agenda would be exposed. Violent criminals are not contributing members of society, are not family people raising kids, are not law abiding citizens, are not welcome in this country.

Reading and hearing about heart breaking story after story about American Citizens being killed and preyed upon by illegals who should not be here is criminal. The “news” media tell half the story and spin it to make it look like the government is doing something wrong. Not sure how any of these people can look themselves in the mirror and think this behavior is ok.
I loved the sympathy story last night on the news re the takedown in Elgin. They were harboring a violent repeat offending illegal, yet were upset that ICE had to bust in the door that the abetters wouldn’t open, because someone has drilled it into their heads that they can. They nabbed another illegal, not the one that they were after, and that also was wrong per the tone of the news program. Either this thing gets done, or it doesn’t. Arrest all the illegals and let DHS sort them out or forget about it.
