Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. I live in a rural area. The libraries in my area are just fine. Go to any city and it is a bastion of Marxism. It will continue as long as DEMS are in control and they are totally in control of this State and I see no other future.
If yo see something you don’t think is appropriate, then have the courage to address it at that level.
Today’s librarians, especially those in the ‘youth’ sections of libraries, are creeps. Gone are the days of the little old lady who wants you to read good literature. Today’s librarian wants to help you explore your gender identity while “burning down the cis-gender homogeneous misogynist librarianship system” as one of my local purple haired librarian tweeted out during the Great Awokening.
