For all of you criticizing the Illinois GOP, why should they bother investing and running anyone? Illinois voters have made it very clear the GOP isn’t welcome.

Good – Good bye DICK. So, leave already…sheesh. The next in line for this seat will be no better. It will be Democrat that they already know will win. This is simply Illinois Corruption passing the torch and giving all us peons the sense of our vote meaning something.

Maybe the feckless Illinois republicans can get Allen Keyes to run again!

DEM will be elected. That is the reality of Illinois. Would be nice if downstate were a separate State but that won’t happen either..

Illinois is the new California. White population has declined by over a million since 1990 and non White population (particularly Hispanics) have increased some 1.4 million.

That the GOP being a useless joke in this state mean another Leftist DEM being elected.

“ First Customer for Legal Marijuana “ Stratton is making her bid. How encouraging for IL. Nice role model for kids too.

Nothing better than having a drugged out US Senator representing Illinois. One can only imagine what a clown show Stratton would be and probably would give Hank Johnson or Al Green a run for the money for being the biggest clown in DC

We need a Republican candidate instead of another far left Democrat. Taxpayers need representation.

JB has already picked the winner (Lt Gov Stratton) I’m sure he will provide the millions to get her elected like he did for last Illinois supreme (paid for) court.
I wonder how that fits into AOC’s and Bernie’s oligarchy plan?

Also which wealthy political donor would be backing a Republican candidate? If Ken Griffin would still be in Illinois he probably would. That is why Pritzker made no effort to keep Griffin here along with his $30B or so. JB does not want competition.

Abe wouldn’t recognize this place as Illinois today.
