No cops charged with manslaughter. Money does not bring back life. This is a real tragedy, it does not get any worse.

Illinois needs a law to cap these ridiculous high payouts! Funny, criminal in stolen car runs over someone who runs up hospital bills, the victim has to pay them, criminal hurt in crash gets taxpayers to pay his hospital bill! Is that fair! When these lawsuits occur, juries should ask how much life insurance the injured or deceased had on them! That tells you how much they were truly valued! No lawsuits over $5,000,000. 🛑 these ridiculous payments as the criminals actually pay ZERO!

The “ soft reparations” fund is bound to go belly up when you have instance such as the family of Dexter Reed, killed while shooting at police ( and injuring one officer ) having one foot out of the door with millions before someone came to their senses and put a hold on it.
