Hmm.. haven’t been arrested ( or detained ) in a while, but it used to be that you were booked and then made the phone call. I can’t recall anyone having their bottom feeding ambulance chaser ready to pop up out of their back pocket as soon as being taken into custody. These people are criminals and should follow the same routine as everyone else.
