Metro-east school leader is furious suspects were released on firearms charges – Belleville News-Democrat/Yahoo

“If this would’ve happened at Belleville East, Mascoutah, Shiloh, Fairview Heights or any white community, they would be locked up and they would have thrown the key away,” said Vickie Kimmel, the executive director of the TAKE Center. “They do not care because it was Black kids shooting at Black kids.”

Hold the phone there, Vicki. Your duly elected AG is the one that wants to keep poc out of jail at all costs. The detention of these “ funnin’ youths “ would’ve certainly brought the likes of Sharpton and Ben Crump into the picture, with CNN and MSNBC right behind them to point out what a bunch of racist rednecks you are. Think about that the next time you vote blue in IL. Elections have consequences.
