Early Thursday morning, police found a stash of concrete blocks near DePaul University’s Lincoln Park campus, which a law enforcement source suggested could be used by protesters with violent intentions. Similar discoveries were made around downtown this week, although it remains unclear whether protesters staged these items or if they were simply harmless objects found due to heightened vigilance.
Everybody needs a side hustle these days, and mine is Ukraine, where I am now.

If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.

In preparation for the mostly peaceful protestors no doubt.
I went downtown for ” no kings” day. Very tame. I couldn’t get close enough to hear speakers….what’s most interesting was the crowd was 90% white. Mostly middle age white folks. I expected more hippsters. Next to no black folks. A few Hispanics, etc.
The Democrat’s Brownshirt Army SA trying to terrorize Americans because the Democrats got their asses handed to them at the ballot box. Their other tactics haven’t been working so right on schedule they march out the goons. It’s not going to work for the Socialists (Democrats). Looters will be shot and criminal illegal aliens will be arrested imprisoned and deported. And their criminal illegal alien Abuelas.
The Alderman urges restraint because of political optics rather than reinforcing the rule of law or a personal code of ethics that calls for “do no harm” as its basis. In other words, if you can inflict harm without being filmed or associated with my political ethos, it’s OK by me. Be smart, be wise, OK to terrorize.
One can’t blame the shops for taking precautions, but I really can’t see Trump haters interrupting weddings in a building that probably has a security staff. After all, these are Evans’ type of people. Perhaps like a lot of government employees, he saw a chance at yet another paid day off and jumped on it.
It will be a Trump birthday party.
Stashes of weapons placed by whoever is financially these violent protests just like during the Floyd riots. CPD needs to continue patrolling the streets and remove these weapons.
