This is another component of Illinois mismanagement: not having your priorities straight. It’s astonishing and depressing to see what IL pols do with our money.
Apparently they are being paid as police officers as well.

FYI, I find it funny that the DHS website states that it isn’t being actively managed because of the shutdown but this story is available. This shutdown by the democrats is incredibly stupid. Republicans will still make sure GOP items are prioritized while Dems sit on the sidelines. lol
