A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.

As you know, Illinois leads the nation in units of local governments and its tax burdens! Illinois has 8,529 local governments, compared to the 46 states that have less than 2,500!
Yawn. That won’t win any elections.
