Pritzker, Johnson, Preckwinkle, the Cook County Sheriff, and CPD can’t pretend this is an issue state law enforcement can’t help with. This is a fundamental public safety threat. They should be very vocal about this. Will they do the right thing here? Unlikely.
I would think this would put the latin kings on some sort of international terrorist list. If they aren’t already and force Federal forces to eradicate the the terrorists. Maybe this is when the rubber meets the road.

Completely false. SCOTUS has ruled several times that those here in our country illegally are still entitled to due process. Leaving is lying that they aren’t getting due process and others such as yourself seem genuinely ignorant about the rights of those in this country illegally. Plenty of ignorance on both sides when it comes to this matter. it’s utterly amazing that people can read up on this subject, have a genuine interest in it and still not know the law. Is anyone going to speak up on this? Where are the police? Where are the elected reps? Where is the Governor?
Where are the police is a question that Chicagoan’s have been asking for many years.
When the force is cut by more than a third, and then are handcuffed with the progressive political climate, then tend to retreat to self preservation. The police are not the problem. Never were.
If these gangs get the upper hand, police are next. We can’t let it happen. Citizens need to speak up too and not just wait for bonehead officials to do something.
