Ald. Byron Sigcho-Lopez angrily confronts Gov. JB Pritzker in Little Village over taxes – CBS2 (Chicago)

As Pritzker started to walk away from Sigcho-Lopez, the alderman tried to stop him, saying, "Wait, one more second. No, no, no, no. One more second." Al d. MichaelRodriguez responded by shouting at Sigcho-Lopez, "This is my ward. This is my ward. Get out of my ward." (with video)

Again “ Tax the RICH .” How amour REDUCING TAXES ???No one is guaranteed a job for like !!! Reduce the political hires and HIRE THE 1900 police officers that are carried in the budget . That would reduce overtime and give the police officers a break.

Pritzker says he opposes the head tax because it will inhibit job growth in Chicago, ignoring the 70 or so tariff increases he’s placed on his beloved “working families” during his reign of error that prompt people and businesses to leave. All that aside, far left BSL was hilarious, sputtering in protest against far left Pritzker with Rodriguez chirping ineffectually along. Moe, Larry and Curly.

After a lifetime of not hearing anything except ‘Yes, sir.’, this confrontation had to be a bit jarring for JB the Hutt. Perhaps this was staged so that grape-soft JB the Hutt could appear as a tough guy, but Byron Sigcho-Lopez (25th D-Gimme Gimme Gimme) certainly played up the role of indignant opponent well. Sigcho-Lopez was seen telling the governor he wanted to “talk about what we need to do to help our people.”
I want to talk about who are the our people that he is talking about. I don’t think he means the tax paying citizens of the once great state of illinois.
