In Chicago, the Latin Kings have long been a dominant force on the city’s West and Southwest sides, maintaining influence both on the streets and within correctional facilities. Law enforcement agencies describe the group as a hierarchical criminal organization involved in drug trafficking, weapons offenses, assaults, and other violent crimes.

President James Buchanan allowed Southern states to disobey federal laws and South Carolina to secede before Lincoln succeeded him. That “the Land of Lincoln” now openly encourages others, including organized criminals, to commit crimes in defiance of federal laws is an insult to the legacy of a great man who gave his life to reunify the Republic.
If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
