City of Chicago sues Department of Justice over DEI restrictions on community policing hiring grant – ABC7 (Chicago)

The City of Saint Paul also joined the federal lawsuit, which was filed Wednesday in the Northern District of Illinois. It "seeks to prevent DOJ from imposing new grant conditions that require cities to certify that they do not operate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs that DOJ deems unlawful and do not restrict assistance with federal civil immigration enforcement."

Fed Up Taxpayer

Grants can stipulate their terms. DEI is out. Why are taxpayers footing the bill for this nonsense and the million other lawsuits JB throws out to try to tie up the DOJ? There have been several articles on outside attorneys being hired in Illinois because the states attorneys can’t handle the workload. Attorneys have certainly found a cash cow in JB. Pun intended.
