A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.

If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.

I’m impressed! The mayor actually said the conduct was “unacceptable,.” and he didn’t even blame it on the kids not having jobs.. If this trend continues, he may actually think about doing something about it.
Under the Dems, there are no consequences for this behavior, so they will continue and eventually become career criminals. Discipline and accountability, not programs and more money. The behavior of the kids should not be tolerated. Hold the parents accountable and maybe the parents will teach their children not to be violent.
Anytime anyone tries to address the epidemic of violence in the black community they are labeled a racist. This problem will get worse before it gets better.
Although I respect Brooks immensely, he missed the mark by failing to mention that many parents are encouraging this thuggish behavior. I’ve seen more than one video of a parent egging their child on to “ get him!” , sometimes handing them a weapon in the process. This runs much, much deeper than kids without direction. Many are getting the wrong direction. The whole “ culture “ needs a serious overhaul.
