"When it comes to overall taxes and the burden on taxpayers, much more has happened over the past six years," said Ravi Mishra, of the Illinois Policy Institute. "Having one party basically in control over your state gives a bit too much power to do whatever they want."
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
