Lawsuit: City Hall rigged Riverwalk concession review for black-owned restaurant – Legal Newsline

The Hispanic owner of the popular Beat Kitchen restaurant, who was booted by City Hall out of his spot on Chicago's busy Riverwalk, says Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, who is black, and his administration, which is dominated by black deputies and appointees, broke the law by allegedly rigging the process of selecting Riverwalk restaurants to ensure a black-owned business landed the lucrative spot.

How can anyone not see that Johnson behaves like a racist? If you’re Black you get preferential treatment. If you’re not Black, you won’t get ahead in Chicago.

Anyone feel that it’s time to call in the Feds on mayor Johnson and his “ most generous “ appointees for only being generous to people with the right skin color? They are using tax dollars paid by all to benefit only a few, a few btw that can’t seem to file paperwork properly or on time but want to kick a 3M dollar/ year generating business to the curb.

“Our decision to remove your business from the Riverwalk was based on the fact that the new leasee is black and you’re not”. Mayor Johnson’s statement (sarcasm)
