“So, the bottom line overall is that without notable growth expected in the state’s primary resources, and with no significant one-time revenue streams on the horizon, … a relatively stagnant revenue outlook probably should be anticipated this fiscal year,” the Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability’s revenue manager Eric Noggle said. “So it’s not the best news for fiscal year ’27.”

Give them more, don’t give them more…doesn’t really matter, they will still bitch and moan about it either way. 20% of the state’s revenue goes toward education and the results stink. Excellent investment.
If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
