And then let’s spend even more taxpayer dollars on drunk driving cases in court for those that can’t afford an attorney and all the other resulting court costs, social services programs for repeat offenders, also at the taxpayers expense, and the resulting increased costs of insurance for drivers to cover those that don’t have insurance or a license, registration etc. Big, big win for the money hungry state of IL. Every progressive idea that they come up with has a huge price tag when it becomes reality.
If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
