The CPS is not above isolating the less scholarly at test time or outright encouraging them to be no shows on test days. “Time to admit defeat and close up shop.

I believe the Standards were just recently Lowered, right?
That obviously explains the artificially inflated “academic gains”.

All the CPS does is pass on the students. Education is not on the list of things to do in school. A high school education in Chicago is worthless.

They just PUSHED THEM THROUGH !! Look at the claimed graduation rate !! CPS puts lipstick on a pig.

Hmmm, didn’t Chicago/Illinois just drop the standards for what they consider academically proficient at different grade levels…and now they say students are doing better. I smell a rat.

The only reason CPS shows educational gains is because they lowered the standards . CPS continues to produce students who can’t read or do basic math. CPS continues to fail students.
