JB Pritzker said Chicago has been submitted as a possible site for the 2028 and 2032 conventions. “Under the FBI’s current leadership, under the Secret Service’s current leadership, will they act as they did in 2024 in coordination with local and state law enforcement to make sure that we have a safe city during a convention like this,” he said.

These two don’t care about crime in Chicago and IL, except when Chicago is in the limelight. They both want cooperation from the Feds, yet won’t cooperate to turn over criminal illegals in IL jails. Both are hypocrites.
Excellent point, Deb. Illinois welcomes federal help and funding when it benefits them—didn’t they deploy the National Guard to secure the streets during the convention? But when it comes to protecting everyday citizens, suddenly it’s ‘unacceptable.’ The mayor and Governor have full law-enforcement resources and personal security at their disposal, yet neighborhoods are left exposed. The real question is: why are citizens expected to accept less protection than politicians demand for themselves?
