Chicago Loop retail vacancy rate on decline – Center Square

New data shows Loop area retail vacancies ticked down in 2025, marking the second straight year of such development and giving raised hope to some that things may finally be settling.

Trust your eyes, empty store fronts and lack of restaurants in the loop are proof that nothing is getting better, the lies told and continue every
year. Stop the BS, Walgreens leaving the old post
office building is but one example many more in the waiting.

In spite of Mayor 6.6 and company doing everything they can to drive business out of the city. Imagine what a sharp mayor could do for the city instead of the butter knife dull mayor we currently have there?
