The fact that the Tribune continues to endorse any democrats says it all. The democratic party, especially in Illinois, is a criminal organization. It’s members are, one and all, thieves, leeches, scumbags and degenerates. And the people that vote for them are the same except that I would add subhuman idiots to the list.
The Trib and Times are whores the Democrats pimp to the public
Not mentioned in this article is Chicago still owes police officers about 150 million in overtime pay that has been ordered by the courts. This iis in addition to another 260 million that is owed to employe pension funds by the city. Chicago city government is financially swirling around the drain with political leaders unwilling to face reality and make the cuts that are needed.
“It’s worse than we thought.” Really? Is the Tribune grotesquely stupid or just willfully ignorant? Maybe if you removed your mouth from a certain part of the democrat’s anatomy, you would have thought of it sooner? The tribune and the sun-times and the rest of Chicago main stream media is just a propaganda arm for the left. The only thing the sun-times writes about is ICE and TDS.

If fiscal responsibility were an Olympic sport, Chicago would be training for the wrong event. While the bond rating slides and the bills stack up, City Hall keeps perfecting the art of spending money it doesn’t have on priorities no one voted for. Nothing says “long-term stability” like shrugging at the credit agencies and doubling down anyway. Leadership matters. The Olympic analogy is a good one. Every city that hosts the games loses money. Confiscated taxpayer funds were tossed by the truckload into the event to make up the difference.
Meanwhile, the political animals point to what a great party it was. Never mind those maxed-out credit cards…
it’s way past elections. There is nobody running for anything in Illinois who has any chance of winning, who isn’t bought and paid for.
