Much of the routine trade and investment between China and America is entirely appropriate and in America’s interest. But inserting the Chinese Communist Party into America’s pay-to-play system and its economic development strategy isn’t just crossing a line. It’s a leap into an abyss of stupidity.
this is similar to southern states attempting to insert their version of religion into public school classrooms as neither of them have a place in what are supposed to be a neutral learning environments.
No better a day than May day for the left wing, communist, teachers and their union to parade around the little minions they have successfully indoctrinated into hating America and unknowingly saluting the communist way. Disgusting.
The kids will at least be one day less stupid
yes, because CPS teachers and students don’t get enough days off, and the students are already performing above their grade levels
May 1 should be the day to honor victims of communsim. Ilya Somin makes a great argument for this here: https://reason.com/volokh/2025/05/01/victims-of-communism-day-2025/
There’s no Communists in America; don’t believe me? Name one;)
Sure. No pay, and no federal funds for that day.
CTU = Socialist Workers Union
Bunch of loud mouth howling Socialists!!
They dint get paid to teach . They get paid to indoctrinate your children .
Have the protests on Saturdays and see who really gives a shit other than a day out of school.
Do you wonder why the voucher system should be in play ? Parents should have the right to make sure their kids get a good unencumbered education.
This is baloney. They have no right to inflict their politics on the entire school system. Why not educate your failing students in the basics. Very few of them can read or do math at grade level.
Better be an unpaid day. Enough of the paid protests.
Hilarious. These lefty loons will demand time and a half if they protest on a Saturday.
Teachers? Nope.
Indoctrinators.
I’m sure the parents won’t mind taking off work to watch their little angels.
And I’m sure the teachers won’t mind adding an extra day of instruction at the end of the year to make up for the classroom time lost for this little escapade, right?
Sure. Give it a try. Let me know if that’s what happens.
