The Chicago Bears will have to wait until at least April for action on a property tax measure that would boost their efforts to build a domed stadium in Arlington Heights. State Rep. Kam Buckner, D-Chicago, the top House Democratic negotiator, confirmed to Capitol News Illinois that the bill won’t move before the House adjourns Friday.

The way things are going, the Bears will be lucky to get the plastic canopy over Soldier Field. Obviously, they don’t want a stadium on a contaminated swamp near an oil refinery. It’s nothing but a ruse. The Chicago contingent won’t vote for a bill to subsidize Arlington Park without a payoff.
If I were the Bears I’d be packing my bags with a middle finger pointed towards Springfield
Wouldn’t need a priory tax increase to fund Bears stadium if IL would stop funding illegals.
They are going to Indiana. Business decision.
