The real question is how many of these people had a final order of deportation entered against them before they were apprehended? That is a question Joe Mahr does not answer in this article. I wonder why?
The thugs who attacked law enforcement in Chicagoland demonstrate why ALL illegal aliens should be deported!
At what point does a heinous act committed by some become so intolerable that all people having similar characteristics automatically discriminated against? How many similarities must they share before innocent people become your victims of choice? Or are you just another Wirepoints fan shooting from the lip before such questions are even pondered?
So people who enter the country illegally are the victims in this situation? And the citizens who object to supporting those who entered illegally are the victimizers? Is that what passes for a logical proposition among the school set?
Almost no negative social situation is the same as another 100% of the time. Each must be judged independently of others that may seem superficially the same, or the word “justice” does not apply. Casting a wider net acting as a judge is a sign of a weak mind.
I would agree with your post if you were talking about actual American citizens. These are not American Citizens, they are in this country illegally – which is a crime in itself. Casting a wider net, as you say,…is simply law enforcement.
Well, there is one guy’s version of proper behavior standards vs. that of most people who will readily criticize him. It’s generally one of those you-just-can’t-win jobs. Would you want that kind of day to day nit-picky-complaint type of jobs? As the old song says “you can’t please everybody, so you’ve got to please yourself.”
Well, that’s why there are laws that define behavior and consequences. People make their own decisions and have to live with them.
If casting a wider net to find commonalities, even if not 100%, is the sign of a weak mind, then anyone with a degree in a social science should turn in their credentials immediately.
Illegal means illegal. Look it up!
You must be thinking of sick birds. But, the word illegal is a social construct and only applies when your lawyer is too stupid to have any such verdict changed. I used to think it was a solid construct, but DJT has taught us that’s a temporary designation easily overcome. I feel so much better, don’t you? It pays to have a good lawyer.

I forget where I saw it but I saw a clip where someone asked Ted if he’d be okay with his immigrant parents getting rounded up and deported, and I admired his willingness to say “Yes.” Moral and intellectual honesty like that is rare and refreshing.
