Crystal Lake man with a long history of violent offenses is charged with sexually attacking a woman inside a Millennium Park parking garage Monday morning, a crime that prosecutors say was stopped only by witnesses who beat the assailant with a water bottle and a wet floor sign.

7 arrests in 11 years. Why is is he on the street? I bet because of soft on crime Democrat judges, juries and prosecutors. I think a 10-year spell of hard labor might cool him off.

F-ing animal needs to be in jail and then executed. Period. These articles become common place. Is anyone really surprised? Elected officials and their useless staff condemn law enforcement, release criminals over and over again…and people are surprised and are looking for the answer. While you liberal morons are trying to re-imagine law enforcement…take these absolute animals out of society and put them in prison…better yet, one bullet and done.
Perfect candidate for a public hanging!
It needs to start up again!
Useless (insert the only 1 slang word crackers aren’t allowed to say).
Think it’s spelled REGGIN if held up to a mirror!

Michigan Ave was particularly violent this week. How long must this insanity continue? Why do we keep releasing harden criminals back into the community over and over again to commit more crimes? Does anyone really believe this is good public policy? why do we keep doing this?

The catch and release policies of Illinois and Chicago allow criminals to perfect and expand their criminal skills. Bravo, it’s working.

What a charmer.
Are you sure he didn’t run for the US Senate on the Democratic ticket? He’d have fit right in with Ted Kennedy and Chris Dodd.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.

Benton could have been Barack Obama’s son.

Or Gary Hart or Bill Clinton or.. they all have ( had?) a weakness for the ladies.
This mental defective should be charged,
convicted, and sent to the big house for
20 to life, NO parole.
End of story.
