Commentary: Illinois’ megaprojects bill should go no further. The effects would ripple beyond the Bears. – Chicago Tribune*

David Greising, of the Better Government Association: "And as happens in Illinois too often, the legislature could well pass a momentous bill — one that could shift hundreds of millions of dollars in tax burden from megaproject investors to their neighbors and even the state — without serious study of the knock-on impacts on property owners, local governments and the state budget."

What a joke our state government is.
Buckner has a nose for the deal, I don’t think
he has a nose for anything else but how much he can grift for himself and close friends.
The gov has him on a short leash but I
believe the Bears are already gone they
see through Buckner’s bullsh..along with the rest
of the communists in Springfield.

Funny isn’t it , our gub doesn’t want to lose a team worth billions and does nothing for the state economy. But doesn’t give a shit if normal people taxpayers lose their homes. Yet we we vote these clowns in .
