The House Gun Violence Prevention Committee voted 9-5 along party lines Wednesday to pass House Bill 4471, which seeks to ban the sale of any semiautomatic pistol with a cruciform trigger bar in Illinois.
Once again the Illinois communist party goes after legal gun owners and now the manufacturer. The generation 6 Glock which was recently released, is manufactured to be “switch” proof. Glock manufactures a weapon according to federal regulations, what happens after that is on the owner. Start charging the thugs for every gun violation they are breaking- FOID, defacing a firearm, extended magazines, no ccl permit, full auto without a license, illegal transportation of firearms, illegal possession of firearms and ammunition. In a state that loves its no kings rallies, there certainly are a lot of articles about things being banned there in Illinois and Chicago. The irony is, I am sure, lost on Chicagoans and Illinoisans.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
