As CPS chief leaves for D.C. hearing, backers hope for strong defense of policies for trans, Black students – WBEZ (Chicago)

CPS CEO Macquline King The subject of the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce hearing, titled “Breaking Trust: Attacks on Parental Rights, Inappropriate Content, and Legal Abuses in America’s Schools,” is broad, meaning the superintendents could be asked about almost anything.

What they got instead was the usual deflections and non-answers typical of leftists at these hearings.

“As CPS chief leaves for D.C. hearing, backers hope for strong defense of policies for trans, Black students”….not so much about teaching kids how to read or do math.

As CTU is sending a bus of “supporters” to DC to “stand” with her, I suspect that the agreed stance is that “CTU is a wonderful partner working toward the educational attainment of all students, and the quality of life for parents and the elderly and disabled who live within the district.” Results? Not so much.
