The signs read “violence on the CTA will not be tolerated,” adding that the attorney’s office “will prosecute and seek pre-trial detention for all violent public offenses on public transit.”

Arrest the people commiting violence, hold in jail pending trial as a danger to the community, try them and if convicted, sentence them to long prison terms. Di=o this quickly and you will see violence on the CTA drop…otherwise those signs can be used as toilet paper.

Good God. Really? They are putting up signs to tell the criminals that their crimes will not be tolerated? Signs… Just when you thought it can’t get anymore ridiculous, this stupid ass idea comes up. More of the $1.5B stolen from the taxpayers in downstate Illinois and given to the corrupt failed CTA being spent – ever so wisely. Is anyone surprised.

Who has the sign making contract?

These $1.10 signs after the Chicago Way markup will cost taxpayers $48.75 each plus tax. Batteries and installation not included.

Ha’ya doin’.

Those signs will probably be as effective as the no-gun signs.

Don’t worry, when these masked and unmasked thugs, thieves, and mentally deranged you’ve got wandering around see these signs. They’ll surely comply. By the way, who got the sign contract?

Put them next to the No Littering signs. Look how well those are obeyed

Now who’s going to read them?

Read signs TO them, since they are mostly product of Chicago Public Schools.

Oh, Grrrr, Eileen.

With the dismal performance of our CTU ‘educators’, you assume thugs can actually read, much less process information accurately.

They’re more likely to process the information accurately than they are to obey them. Thugs be thugs.
