Independent candidate for governor Collin Corbett shares his plans for school funding and data centers – WGN

“What we’re going to do is in my first year, we’re going to freeze discretionary spending and then we’re going to put in place common sense accountability measures so we can see where that money’s going, how it’s being spent and where it’s being spent wisely and unwisely.”

Someone should follow the money trail for his campaign. Is he a legitimate candidate or a spoiler to help Pritzker? He needs to drop out. The IL RNC needs to help IL.

I think if you follow the money you might find Bailey being supported by Pritzker and the Democrats in the Primaries. Many feel, including myself, that a more moderate candidate might have a chance against Pritzker but Bailey certainly doesn’t. He may even garner more votes than one might think because at least it would be an alternative to two very bad other choices.
