Much of the routine trade and investment between China and America is entirely appropriate and in America’s interest. But inserting the Chinese Communist Party into America’s pay-to-play system and its economic development strategy isn’t just crossing a line. It’s a leap into an abyss of stupidity.
The Bears were just the first to abandon Hellinois.
Good. It was a stupid idea to begin with
Chicago, Joliet, does it really matter? The state gets their cut either way, and a dead of night, back room deal makes sure CHI gets their beak whetted as well, much like hanging the debt of the RTA/CTA around the necks of the rest of IL. Perhaps a little less grift for the CHI connected will be had, but I wouldn’t bet on that either.
