If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
It isn’t the quantity of data that will make this arrangemt last forever. It’s all the API integrations between police back office systems and this company’s API. once that work is done, nobody is going to rewrite all those computer programs to now talk to a new vendor, without great cost in system revisions.
