I had a job packing grocery bags and getting carts at 15 at the local grocer. I didn’t need no letter of intent or work permit and my school didn’t need to approve it. This was in the 90’s which wasn’t long ago either. The state doesn’t want to install a work ethic in its citizens. If a youngster fails do obtain a work permit, will he be arrested or fined or…???
Does this also apply if he is self employed? Work permit needed to cut the neighbors grass?
