Much of the routine trade and investment between China and America is entirely appropriate and in America’s interest. But inserting the Chinese Communist Party into America’s pay-to-play system and its economic development strategy isn’t just crossing a line. It’s a leap into an abyss of stupidity.
John Kass is spot on. There are two kinds of Illinois citizens. The first kind are Illinois Democrat politicians and the public sector unions that fund them in exchange for grossly above-market wages and gold plated pensions. The second kind are the chumbolone taxpayers who the criminal politicians and their criminal co-conspirator public sector union members are trying to stick with the invoice.
