Ted was on WTAD earlier this week discussing Pritzker’s upcoming negotiations with AFSCME over their stalled contract. With Rauner on his way out, the union will likely push for even more generous benefits.

Ted pointed out some facts Pritzker cannot ignore: State workers already get the nation’s second-highest pay, automatic salary increases, free retiree health insurance, Cadillac healthcare benefits at subsidized prices, and Social Security on top of overly-generous pensions.
