After death of youth on DCFS radar, IL Republicans call for accountability – Center Square

State Rep. Tom Weber listed off a list of children on DCFS radar who have died. “The Auditor General's report released this week showed that 29 of 34 failures are repeat findings. That's 85 percent repeat failures. That is a problem that comes with failed leadership,” Weber said.

The Illinois Comptroller’s count for Illinois’ nation leading units of local government is 8,529, one third are units of townships. Rep. Tom Weber, who is my representative, mentions failed leadership? Really?
When I leave a message on his cell phone, send emails, or phone his district or Springfield office requesting a meeting in regards of township government consolidation elimination there is complete rejection. This is failed leadership Mr. Weber!!! Weber’s Chief of Staff is a former supervisor of Palatine Township.

Townships will never be abolished, it’s a hotbed for corruption, nepotism and cronyism. No set hours for elected officials, taxpayer funded vehicles for road commissioners – that are supposed to be used for work only , not family vehicles to vacation with. And absolutely no experience required!
