Multiple tow trucks from the city towing everybody they can in the neighborhood. Police commanders order squads to block private parking lots near the Ravenswood church holding services. Tickets, towing charge, storage fees plus damage to certain vehicles. Chicago voters, this is what you asked for, this is what you got. Keep voting for demoncrats afterall they are the party of the people.
The 7th circuit is actually quite conservative. The issue isn’t that J Beluga is stopping religious activity – he has ‘good’ reason to because of a pandemic. The 7th circuit said that’s a good enough reason and religious rights are not infringed. So, we move to state court, where the issue is whether J Beluga alone can make that decision to restrict…that answer seems to be a resounding ‘no’ and he’s getting significant push back for it. I got an idea. Let’s make the elderly walk an extra few blocks with their canes. That’ll learn ’em.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
